Tapping is one of the newer ‘treatments’ now available for self modulation. Tapping works by stimulating certain points on the meridians of the body. It’s exactly the same as when an acupuncturists use needles at stimulate various points points to release energy so the body can heal itself–except EFT is working with the emotions.
I like to think of EFT as ‘emotional acupressure’. It can help you face any situation you are reluctant to face. (Like the dog at the vets, above!)
The wonderful things about ‘tapping’ is that you can do it yourself, anytime, anywhere. To learn now to do it, go to Youtube and put the initials ‘EFT’ in the browser. Uses: Tapping can be used for any challenging emotion and/or situation. It works best when you are able to pinpoint accurately what the issues are so the issue or feeling can be targeted properly. This will be clearer when you do the procedure a few times.
